Delivery Drivers

Pipers News is an expanding business currently working with over 100 adult drivers delivering early morning newspapers seven days a week throughout East Sussex, West Sussex, South Surrey and West Kent.

We offer a flexible approach to recruitment, providing opportunities to work from our depots in Eastbourne and Crawley, collect from drop points near the start of delivery rounds and work as many or as few days a week to suit your circumstances.

Hours can be starting from 1:30am, 3:00am, 4:00am or 4:45am depending on location and whether or not additional round preparation duties are undertaken. The only fixed obligation is that all deliveries have to be completed by around 7.00am Monday to Friday and 8:00am at weekends.

Delivery rounds generally take between 2 and 3 hours to complete.

We offer competitive rates for the hours worked, but these are generally part time jobs for early risers to supplement other income.

Most of our drivers supply their own vehicles, however there are some rounds which Pipers News supply a company vehicle for marketing purposes.
