What time can I expect to receive my newspaper?We begin making deliveries between 4.00am and 5.00am and aim to complete all rounds by 8.00am. Due to higher volumes and supplement inserting, rounds are likely to finish later at weekends.
We occasionally run late due to late newspaper delivery from publishers. The chain from the editor completing the newspaper, printing, transportation and delivery to us is complex and extremely tight with very little margin for error so late supply is inevitable from time to time. We can also experience unforeseen delivery driver problems beyond our control.
How do I stop my deliveries when I am away?Amendments can be made by calling our office, completing the holiday form on our website or emailing our office. We do however ask you to give us a minimum of a clear day’s notice. i.e. 48 hours.
Our rounds are prepared for the next day when our drivers return to the depot at 8.00am. Our early morning operational staff can then go home for their well earned rest knowing that everything is ready for the next morning’s deliveries.
We can of course amend deliveries for the next morning if absolutely necessary, but for a number of technical reasons cannot guarantee such change will be actioned reliably.
Delivery charges vary depending on your location. Please call our office for the delivery charge where you live.
How can I pay my bill?You will be sent a statement every month and can pay by the following methods.
Direct Debit - The vast majority of our customers settle their account by direct debit - click here to print a form or call us and we will send you a Direct Debit mandate & pre-paid envelope.
Securely via our Website – Log into our website to ‘Pay your Account’ and follow the payment instructions to securely settle your account by credit or debit card.
By Phone - Simply give us a call on 01323 840753 and we can take payment by Debit or Credit card.
By Cheque - Please make cheques payable to Pipers News and send to Pipers News, Hargreaves Business Park, Hargreaves Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex BN23 6QW.
No, you can have newspapers delivered on as many days as you choose. Our delivery charge is daily so we only charge for the days you have newspapers delivered.
Can I have magazines delivered as well?Yes we deliver weekly, fortnightly & monthly magazine publications for no extra charge. We have access to over 3,000 magazines titles so are able to almost certainly deliver your favourite or specialist magazine to you.
Do you accept newspaper subscription vouchers?Yes we accept all newspaper vouchers.
Am I committed to any length of time?No you can cancel your deliveries at any time.
